The master of Tae Kwon Do and the teacher of Hwoarang,Baek Doo San, makes his return to the tournament after his reputed death at the hands of Ogre. Years earlier,Baek had visited a country to pass on his legendary Tae Kwon Do skills. He was set upon by a mysterious assailant and was rendered unconcious.
When Baek came round,he was he found himself in a military hospital. Baek was informed by a military officer that he had been unconscious for a year. Upon hearing this, Baek was offered a job to teach his martial arts in the military. He accepted. He was asked by the base commander to write to Hwoarang, which said he was safe and well. He asked Hwoarang to return to the military. This was to be the first time they had met for over 2 years. To see his pupil's skills in action, Baek enters the 5th tournament in the hope of testing Hwoarang's skills and measuring his improvements. |
